The ATN Ranger Eyes 800 Laser Rangefinder LSLRRE08 (24050) is an advanced laser range finding system that rapidly provides an accurately measured distance out to 800 yards. RE800 is an advanced, compact, yet simple to operate optical device that combines a 6X monocular with a laser distance-measuring instrument - a Laser Rangefinder. It is intended to observe distance and measure distance of a specific (non transparent) object. ATN 800 Ranger Eyes LSLRRE08 Laser Rangefinder is equipped with an eye-safety laser. ATN Ranger Eyes RE800 Range Finder features four different modes of operation as well as an automatic shut-off switch. Optically, the Ranger Eyes 800 ATN Rangefinder is a 6X25 monocular with a built in LCD in the field of view. When activated, the LCD of ATN Laser Rangefinder will display a viewfinder for aiming and other relevant data for adjustments and readout output data. LSLRRE08 can take measurements up and beyond 800 yards, most users will find it most useful and accurate for readings within 600 yards. This rangefinder is easy to use and works great out to 500-600 yds. Beyond that, it is very difficult to get a reading, probably due to laser reflection. Pros: Excellent rangefinder Cons: not great beyond 600 yds

Nice unit that has a fair degree of accuracy. Does get confused with close approximate objects that are within the field of view. I imagine this is common as the laser can get scattered. Get one and throw it in your bag and forget it till you need it.
