Its really a nice sight for shooting up to 50 yards. I use it for popin ground squirrels and raccoons. Good things are you can use it at night. Also I like that you can keep both eyes open during use so you can move and shoot. Pros: Durable, Accurate Cons: Multi Reticle zero moves with each reticle

I've used several red dot/reflex sights and I am sick and tired of reading reviews by children who play airsoft. Please, if you play airsoft, feel free not to comment on how this or that works on your toy. This web sight is for shooters who use firearms. Getting that out of the way, the distance between the laser and the crystal matters because the additional millimeters mean the "dot" will move less and naturally encourage you to shoot from the same spot every time. This means the sight will help beginner shooters to sight-in more consistently, placing their cheek bone and nose in the same position for every shot - thus making the shooter more accurate overall. I highly encourage anyone looking for a reliable reflex sight (that isn't more than $200) to spend the extra money to purchase this model or one from ATN. Take it or leave it - I've used this sight for more than four years and haven't had to replace the batteries yet. I can stand and shoot at targets distant to 50 meters with a four inch Circular error probability (meaning the shots will end up hitting within a 4 inch diameter) using the two-eye shooting technique in rapid succession (6 shots/30 seconds from a standing position). Pros: sight picture, accuracy, brightness, battery life, fitting. Cons: screws used to tighten sight onto rail need to be thumb screws

Ok at 50yds plus but too much parallax for my Buck Mark pistol at typical shooting ranges. Not parallax free as claimed. Not adjustable. Pros: small clear 2 MOA dot, Easy to setup, Visible in daylight Cons: parallax error at close range - 20 yds

i've had trouble with off brand red dots before- loosing their zero, stripping mounting bolts threads and unreliable battery connections. This scope is built to last. Besides, no need for loosening any "locking" bolts for zero adjustment- they are designed just like a regular scope. The screen is bigger than other reflex sights, which adds to the ease of opperation. Pros: big display, easy to zero, uses common battery, reliable Cons: no automatic brightness adjstment

Put this sight on an AK with a receiver attached mount. Installed to rear of mount so battery compartment overhangs rear of mount. This allows battery to be replaced without removing sight from the rifle. Based on previous reviews on red dots, I removed the battery cover prior to mounting the sight and gently stretched the battery cap spring to ensure contact - also made sure cap was tight. Was able to zero very quickly and the the zero held after more than 100 rounds. Only needed setting 5 on the brightness while shooting in bright sunlight. Easy targaet acquisition, very accurate and repeatable. Very secure attachment to the mount as the attachment on the scope runs the entire lenght of scope providing great contact area with the mount. The Range Officer commented on the accuracy of my rifle which I attribute to the ATN Ultra Sight. Didn't check accuracy of all sight patterns after zeroing - I chose the circle dot for zero and shooting. Pros: Easy setup, bright reticle pattern, holds zero Cons: Can't find one

using this sight on a FN FAL type rifle getting on target is much faster than a conventional sight or scope and the accuracy is super we were shooting 3" groups at 340 yards away with with no eye strain.

Great product for the price. I use it for club tactical rifle matches where I don't want my expensive optics to get damaged. So far its done a good job and taken a little abuse Pros: Price point and ease of use Cons: Battery life

Windage set screw was rounded out when I opened the box.....returned this sight after contemplating replacing the set screw or the sight itself. Nah, this was planned for my Ruger Mk3 hunter. The rear sight is too tall to mount this sight. So with a little disassembly of the rear sight, I got it on. The battery case is large (5-6 mm) enough to create similar mounting problems with other handguns. A friend recommended the NC Star red dot. After I saw how fuzzy the reticles are at 16-20 inches (depending on how long your arm is) I wasn't gonna spend what it takes to get a nice red dot. Nah...For $120 I bought a Simmons ProHunter pistol scope (28mm 2-6x 20 inches of eye relief W/ALL POWERS) FYI the Simmons doesn't come with rings. Pros: Cheap, large sight picure, 4 reticle choices, nice finish Cons: quality control, cheap reticle, rear of sight hangs down aprox. 5-6 mm

I had mine mounted first on my Stag AR15 5.56 and it was dead on after sighting it in on zero at 25/50 yards. Then I could not see the target anymore but the use of different reticles increased accuracy on the 50 yd shots. Then I purchased a Colt AR 15/.22 and moved it to there while I await another to place back on my Stag. I am going to order another for my Ruger Charger. If it's not perfect, it's not a con because you only get what you pay for and you get alot for the small investment with this unit. I give it a thumbs up and reccomend it to anyone on a limited budget. Like me... Pros: Great value for the cost Cons: reticles are ever so slightly tilted to left but does not interefere with aiming.

I have this mounted on my WASR-10 and after a trip to the range, I must say that I'm pleased. It's secured to a UTG quad-rail and doesn't add much weight to the front of the rifle. There is a small gap between the end of the rail and the rear peep sights and it allows you to replace the battery without removing the optic itself. I'm not sure why ATN thought that it was a good idea to place the battery compartment there but there are ways around it. I'm a former Marine Corp Rifleman and I must admit, my AK is not as accurate as what I am used to with an A4, but with this it was pretty close. I really like the circle and dot reticle the most and the zero stayed the same on all of the settings. I wouldn't take this to war though, maybe because I was spoiled with that ACOG....You'd have to expect a noticeable difference between an $80 red dot and something from Trijicon but it's pretty solid. There is ALOT of glare with this thing, even on an indoor range that was pretty dim. All in all it's solid for the range or to experiment to figure out whether or not you'll like a red dot or prefer a traditional scope. I'll eventually update to a PK-AS now that I know that I'm comfortable with red dots. Pros: Easy to mount, light-weight , and attractive. It's a good entry-level sight. Cons: Why would you make it so you'd have to remove the optic to replace the battery? WHY? WHY again?

Well build, awesome sight for the money. It is a bit long however, so make sure your rail is long enough for it.

I wanted a lower priced red dot sight than my EOTech557 that I have on my AR15. So I purchased the ATN ultrasight for my Beretta Storm. Very nice qaulity for the money. I would purchase another, without a second thought. You my not be able to abuse it like an EOTech, but I'm careful with any scope or sighting system anyway. Pros: Easy set up Cons: Battery is under unit, have to remove unit to replace battery.

I purchased this from my Remington 870. It is a nice red dot sight. The 10 position brightness allows me to see the dot in any light conditions. The only complaints I have is that because of the location of the dial I had to take off my iron sight before mounting. I find that the low profile, while good for accuracy, is too low for me to get a comfortable aim. While I am happy with it for the price I might have been better server spending more money and getting something on a higher mount. Pros: Bright dot, long battery life Cons: Dial location

great to have the variety of reticles and the light weight is a real plus. Great to look through one lens instead of a tube. Best price at optics planet! Pros: light weight Cons: must dismount sight to replace batery

I have had this sight on my rifle (7.62x39) for eight months now. Never a glitch! always has held zero even after long range sessions. Original battery sent with the sight is still going strong. The only negative I can think of is when I do finally need to change the battery I will have to remove the sight from my rail, change the battry and then re-zero. No big deal really.. Great value! Pros: price, reliablity Cons: battery location

I have an ARMALITE M15A4 so I have a complete flat top and but it still struggles to fit on my rail and it is out of focus at times but other options make it very deadly for whomever is on the other end of the scope- I'd take this into combat over more expensive GI Scopes(after putting a couple hundred Tungsten Rounds through first) Pros: useability, PERFECT for clearing rooms Cons: a bit out of focus and only one track to lock down

I bought this ATN and a BSA and the BSA failed (shorted after shooting only 20 rds 5.56mm). Got a replacement and failed after maybe 75 rounds. Returned and got another ATN- Both have over 800 rds and still going strong. Cannot trust BSA. Pros: Bright, Accurate, Not Expensive Cons: A Little too long

Everything I have made by them has been awesome. This sight is no exception. Mounted on a Bravo 18 AK 762x39, it works great. Quality piece.. Only complaint I have is it has arifact, reflection around the laser dot. Works get tho, get one if you can!

A nice sight, well made, and works as advertised. However, I don't know how to rate it, because it is designed as a shooting sight (as in, killing wildlife), but I needed it for rapid target acquisition when photographing wildlife with a really long lens, an increasingly common use of red dot sights. It extends too far back from the mounting bracket to allow using the viewfindinder on the camera when it is mounted on the flash bracket (as is common). Select another if you are planning to use it for photgraphy!

Excellent red dot, especially for the price. It fits perfectly on my Kel-Tech PLR-16 and, because of its small size, it would be a perfect red dot for any AR or AK type pistols. Pros: Very compact and lightweight Cons: Not as durable as Eotech or Aimpoint Sights

On occasion, during use, I loose power and have to tweak the intensity knob to regain the reticle. you can see the dot on all but the brightest days and is a great product over all. Pros: Does what it says Cons: Occasional power loss
